This outdoor professional development opportunity is for teachers from the Salem-Keizer School District to better prepare them for the planning and conducting outdoor school.
Schools that conduct an overnight outdoor school should plan on attending both the Friday, March 16 sessions as well as the Saturday, March 17 sessions. Free lodging Friday night optional. Schools that are planning for only a three day-long outdoor school may attend only the Saturday, March 17 sessions. All sessions will be held at the Oregon 4-H Center in West Salem.

Teachers will receive a $50 stipend per day, free meals, free lodging (optional), an outdoor school toolkit, sessions lead by presenters with outdoor school experience, and an opportunity to attend a follow-up curriculum workshop.
