Join us as author, artist, and photographer Rick Thompson will present his research uncovering the effects of the Missoula Flood in the Willamette Valley and Salem environs. This catastrophic flood covered the Willamette Valley with up to 400 feet of water and left gravel bars miles wide and hundreds of feet high. Signs of these floods are still visible in the local landscape today. look at the landscape with new eyes.
